Our program identified a direct correlation to proactive mental health and student success. We merge holistic mental health services and emotional regulation practices with authentic learning education to achieve positive outcomes. We help improve self-confidence, engagement, study habits, and positive classroom participation.
The program incorporates a holistic approach to student development including biofeedback (emotional regulation), meditation, art, music, peer-to-peer mentorship/tutoring, and individual or group therapy to address current stress, frustration, and emotional crisis before it becomes a trauma. We also teach trauma recovery coping skills to remove emotional barriers for students and to promote positive decision making that improves the absorption and retainment of new information.
We have an 100% success rate* in improving classroom performance and behaviors. The program facilitates significant, measurable, improvement across all outcomes associated with student success including, GPA, attendance, positive peer relationships, student/teacher interactions, communication skills, self-expectations, and family commitment to student outcomes. Participants have achieved a decrease in desire to dropout (give up), behavioral episodes or violence on campus, feelings of anxiety, depression, and ideation of suicide. The program also includes the student's sphere of influence (parents, peers, teachers), a key part of lasting success.
